System Notes
This is the former Auto Alliance International Plant, located in Flat Rock, Michigan. The Ford Motor Company has decided to spend $550 million dollars to completely upgrade the facility. Now known as the Flat Rock Assembly Plant, they will will be the only U.S. producer of the Fusion, and will continue making the popular Mustang. This corporate decision signals the end of the joint manufacturing venture between Ford and Mazda. The latter has moved production of the Mazda6 back to the Hofu Plant, located in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.
