Public Safety Common

These frequencies are licensed under the State of New Jersey - Office of Public Safety and Communication the State Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness and the NJ Attorney General's Office otherwise also known as UASI (Urban Area Security Initiative Interoperability Working Group) In North-East Region of New Jersey they cover (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Union counties Cities of Newark, Jersey City and New York City). Nationwide interoperability V-TAC, U-TAC and I-Tac frequencies have been removed and are currently listed on the Nationwide Interop page. Please check this LINK for their listings. Note, at times depending on the situation 400Mhz frequencies will be cross patched with 800 MHz frequencies. Also encryption is at times used on the NJ interop frequencies with NJ 8TAC96 being encrypted full time.

Note, at times depending on the situation these frequencies will be cross patched with 400Mhz Interop frequencies and / or with 800 Interop frequencies.
