The Chattahoochee River 911 Authority (aka "ChatComm") serves Sandy Springs as its 911 Emergency Call Center. ChatComm was created in 2009, a joint effort by the cities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek. It is operated following the Public-Private model with iXP Georgia, LLC managing the day-to-day operations. In addition to serving the cities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek (which uses the Fulton County P25 system), the cities of Dunwoody and Brookhaven (each of which use the DeKalb County 25 system) are also dispatched by ChatComm.

NFRRSA and Cobb Regional Radio System (CRRS) have created an Inter RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI) link that allows users of certain CRRS talkgroups to automatically roam onto the NFRRSA system in certain areas where the CRRS has weak coverage but the NFRRSA system has strong coverage. A temporary talkgroup on the NFRRSA system is automatically assigned and linked back to the user's home talkgroup on CRRS. Currently, Cobb County Police Precinct 4 units have access to such a temporary, automatically created ISSI patch on the NFRRSA system. The talkgroups below are part of a pool that are automatically randomly assigned by the NFRRSA system for these temporary ISSI links, on an as-needed basis, with no user, dispatcher or system administrator intervention required.
