System Notes
The Frontier Digital Network, is a wide-area public safety interoperable communications system platform. Currently, the system is in it's initial testing stage. When all of the technical work is completed, the first stage of the system roll-out will begin.
Built by Motorola Solutions, Inc., this Project 25 TRS will replace older analog legacy systems that are currently at the end of their useful lifespan. This system uses Phase II modulation, which can only be decoded by the GRE PSR-800 scanner. When finished, this system will not only cover the following counties, but maybe expanded to other nearby areas:
- Klickitat, Washington
- Gilliam, Oregon
- Sherman, Oregon
- Wheeler, Oregon
