System Notes
Talkgroups label "GOV 4" are programmed into each entities radios to provide a common talkgroup for the local entity. The local township fire departments will make the most use of these talkgroups since they are the only 'local' talkgroup in their fire radios.
Fire Alert Tone Out Talkgroups on the system all end with the last two digits '40'. They will not be heard if there is no radio affiliated with that agency's talkgroup. Some of the agencies do not have radios on them on a full time basis. Even if the system is programmed to send the initial tone out on one of these talkgroups, the system does not send it out on the base transmitters if there is no radio available to hear it.
Talkgroups
The City of Hamilton's Communication Center has been merged with the County Sheriff. As a result there is a geographical re-organization in progress. Talkgroups for the city of Hamilton are being coverted to a 'Central' dispatch zone. County Sheriff talkgroups are being converted to a 'West' dispatch zone. Talkgroups for the 'East' dispatch zone are TBD at a future time.
TG 20000 is programmed in every Fire radio in the county.
Talkgroups 10011-10016 are programmed into every Law Enforcement radio in the county.
