This system has been fully upgraded to an ASTRO 4.1 Smartnet, and additional frequencies have been added to help with increased channel loading. In the near future, this currently active trunking radio system, will be linked to the Hinds, Warren, and Rankin County Systems, which includes the new city of Ridgeland TRS. Moreover, the Madison TRS and others, will be fully integrated into the MSWIN, statewide 700 MHz TRS that is currently under development.The former TRS is as follows:
