Interoperability - Tri Services

These talkgroups are designed to allow all three emergency services, plus the other agencies on the system, to communicate together on common channels. They are analog interoperable channels.

On CPS and EMS radios they are zone B groups. On older Fire radios, they are also zone B, but on the new Fire radios, they have been moved to zone E. In any case they normally take up positions 9 thru 16 on any radio, to allow for commonality among naming conventions.
