System Notes
This is the new McPherson County P25 Public Safety System. Using Harris P25ip technology, the new digital TRS will use Phase II modulation, and will be mostly used for all law enforcement radio traffic. Sadly, inside information has indicated that all talkgroups on this new system will use AES-256 encryption standards, which are designed to prevent unauthorized eavesdropping on sensitive, mission critical departmental communications. When completed, this new P25 TRS will replace the existing legacy EDACS TRS currently in use.
