The NAVY FACSFAC’s mission is to provide scheduling, communication links, control, containment, coordination, Search and Rescue and a variety of other services to all military and civil aircraft operating in the Warning Areas and off-shore Operating Areas (OPAREAS) along the
US east, west and Gulf coasts and around Hawaii. Technical control of platforms operating within the Warning Areas/OPAREAS is accomplished by RADAR, processing equipment, displays, and various communications links. The facilities are operational in all weather conditions and support
day and night operations. Special mission support includes: positioning aircraft for exercises; research, development testing and evaluation support; event recording; event sequencing; and back-up shore-based command support.

NOTE:  The dividing line between the "NORTH" and "SOUTH" SEALORD operations areas is defined as N30°45'
