The Forestry Division is responsible for the management of approximately 263,000 acres of forested trust land across the state. The Division is headquartered in Cheyenne, and has field offices in Newcastle, Casper, Laramie, Riverton, Buffalo, Pinedale, and Lyman. The Forestry Conservation program utilizes inmates for forestry projects and firefighting and is located in Newcastle. The current district map can be found at Wyoming State Forestry Division
District 1 - Crook, Niobrara and Weston counties
District 2 - Albany, Carbon, Converse, Goshen, Laramie, Natrona and Platte counties
District 3 - Big Horn, Fremont, Hot Springs, Park and Washakie counties
District 4 - Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater, Teton and Unita counties
District 5 - Campbell, Johnson and Sheridan counties
