Bastrop County is now migrating to P25 digital and has joined the Greater Austin/Travis Regional Radio System (GATRRS).
All public safety agencies and County services were on the County Motorola Type II trunk. Some Fire Departments still use VHF but are migrating to the trunked system. Bastrop City Fire will have full trunk capability in the near future. Elgin Fire is utilizing VHF, County trunk and LCRA EDACS system.
