The 172nd Airlift Wing is an airlift wing of the United States Air National Guard located at Jackson-Evers International Airport. It flies eight of the C-17 Globemaster III and previously flew the C-141B Starlifter.

186th Air Refueling Wing (186th ARW)
The 186th Air Refueling Wing is a refueling wing of the United States Air National Guard located at Meridian Regional Airport/Key Field, Mississippi. It provides over 1,000 personnel and nine KC-135Rs to Air Mobility Command for worldwide missions. The Wing also supports counter-drug missions with an RC-26B aircraft. The 186th is heard on Aerial Refueling Track AR101. The 186th ARW will become an airlift wing in 2011.
